About Me
Born and Raised in Arkansas/Texas
Hey, I’m Sam, a southern boy who grew up on the border of Texas and Arkansas. Growing up in Texarkana, I quickly learned how to balance southern charm with a bit of rebellion, especially when it came to embracing my true self. Growing up in the south wasn't always easy, but it taught me resilience, grit, and the importance of carving my own path.
College in Colorado
I made my way to Golden, CO, to pursue a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering—leaving behind the heat and humidity for the cool mountain air. The transition was a whirlwind, but it felt like the perfect place to start finding my identity beyond the small town. After college, I landed in Boulder, where I combined my love of engineering and creativity while embracing the progressive, open-minded vibe of the area.

Puyallup, Washington
Now, I’m calling Washington State my home and I’m still soaking up everything [minus the sun] the Pacific Northwest has to offer—from the rich cultural diversity to the breathtaking landscapes. I'm supporting a space company working on rockets, we recently reached full orbit~ My journey’s been a wild ride, full of new beginnings. Along the way, I’ve learned to blend my southern roots with a love for sci-fi, innovation, and self-expression.
